Step by Step Recycling

STEP ONE: GET A KIT

Purchase a car seat recycling kit. We recycle every car seat, every brand, and every model of child safety seat.

Step 2: Drop your old car seat into the bag

STEP TWO: LOAD IT UP

Place your old car seat into the custom recycling and shipping bag. Close the bag. Apply the prepaid UPS shipping label.

Step 3: drop your old car seat, bagged, at USP store

STEP THREE: DROP IT OFF

Drop the sealed bag at the UPS store of your choice. Your old seat will be shipped to the closest recycling partner's facility.

STEP FOUR: RECYCLED

Your old car seat is dismantled, shredded, and the materials are segregated. The plastics and metallic parts are recycled.

Simple and Easy

I appreciate that this recycling program is available. I hated the thought of just tossing the seat into the trash and it was just about at its expiration. Ordering was quick and easy and kit arrived fairly fast. It only took a couple minutes to get it put together. The bag is pretty big, which I’m assuming so it can accommodate a full size car seat. I was able to fold it closed easily and used the included tape, as well as a small bit of my own. I went to UPS store and was there for two seconds. Overall very happy!
