Place your old car seat into the custom recycling and shipping bag. Close the bag. Apply the prepaid UPS shipping label.

Step 3: drop your old car seat, bagged, at USP store

STEP THREE: DROP IT OFF

Drop the sealed bag at the UPS store of your choice. Your old seat will be shipped to the closest recycling partner's facility.

STEP FOUR: RECYCLED

Your old car seat is dismantled, and shredded, and the materials are segregated. The plastics and metallic parts are recycled.

I decided to spare my son and his wife the hassle of getting rid of their infant car seat. With two under three, I knew it would sit in their garage collecting dust indefinitely. Target required you buy new seat from them in order to do that. I was delighted with your system (it was a bit pricier than I would have liked, a car seat and two bases), and immediately ordered the shipping bags. They came quickly and the items were bagged up and sent off to be recycled. I felt pretty good about that. Thanks for your environmental responsibility.
